Friendly Academy in Saint Louis, MO, is seeking an Elementary Teacher for a full-time role within its founding team. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field.
• MO Teacher Certification required.
• Teaching experience, preferably in a K-5 setting.
• Knowledge of high quality instructional material and classroom management.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons aligned with Friendly Academy's framework.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs and provide support.
• Participate in grade-level and content-team meetings to improve outcomes.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments and provide feedback.
• Engage families and communities about student progress and early education.
• Participate in professional development to grow as an educator.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and apply behavior strategies.
• Engage in recruitment efforts to support school community growth.
