Job summary

Factory is building autonomous development systems for enterprise engineering teams and is looking for a Founding HRBP in San Francisco. You will partner with leaders across the organization to design org structures, plan headcount, and implement effective people programs while shaping the HRBP function as the company scales.

You will coach leaders, drive performance reviews and compensation cycles, and contribute to L&D, Total Rewards, and data-driven HR initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in HR with an HRBP or People Partner background.
• Strong business acumen to partner with functional leaders and drive impact.
• Curious problem solver focused on root causes rather than policy
• Employee-focused with a people-first mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Advise leaders on org design, workforce planning, and growth as the company scales.
• Develop playbooks and frameworks for org design, performance calibration, and comp cycles.
• Coach leaders on performance, feedback, and people leadership to build trust.
• Lead end-to-end performance reviews and compensation processes with a data-driven approach.
• Leverage AI tools to optimize operations and workflows across the org.
