Job summary

Realon Christian Academy in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Founding Head of School to launch a classical Christian high school for grades 9–12. You will guide academics, faith formation, and student life while building a strong faculty and community.

The role requires leadership of curriculum, culture, and operations, with oversight of budget and stakeholder relations; reporting to the Board of Trustees.

Qualifications

• Active Christian faith consistent with leadership expectations.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience leading high-school academic programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the school's academic, spiritual, cultural, and operational health.
• Recruit, develop, and retain exceptional faculty and leaders.
• Oversee curriculum, instruction, and assessment across grades 9–12.
• Manage budget, priorities, and reporting to the Board of Trustees.
• Engage families, partners, and the broader community in school life.
