Realon Christian Academy in Charlotte, NC, a partner school with Great Hearts Academies, seeks a Founding Head of School for a Fall 2026 start to lead the launch of this private, classical Christian high school opening in Fall 2027 for grades 9–12.

The Head of School will oversee academics, student life, culture, operations, and finances, report to the Board of Trustees, recruit an outstanding faculty, foster a Christ-centered learning community, and partner with families and community

Qualifications

• Active Christian faith and alignment with leadership expectations.
• 3+ years of school leadership experience (dean, head, principal).
• Strong ability to recruit, coach, and evaluate teachers.
• Experience with classical or Christian high school programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the school in fulfilling its Christian mission and program vision.
• Recruit, onboard, supervise, and develop teachers and campus leaders.
• Oversee curriculum, assessment, and instructional excellence.
• Direct student life, culture, and family communications.
• Manage operations, budgets, and reporting to the Board.
• Build partnerships with churches and community organizations.
