Job summary

ReClym Health in New York is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to join the founding team. You’ll own the platform end-to-end—from API and data model to frontend—shaping the product infrastructure for clinical use.

You’ll work directly with clinicians and a healthcare advisor, building with TypeScript/Node.js, React, and AWS. This role offers high ownership, autonomy, and impact in a startup setting aimed at expanding access to mental healthcare.

Qualifications

• Own production systems end-to-end including API, data model, and frontend
• Strong TypeScript and Node.js proficiency across backend and frontend
• Deep AWS knowledge (IAM, VPC, data security, audit)
• PostgreSQL mastery incl. row-level security and data protection
• Experience in regulated environments (healthcare or similar)
• Comfort building with limited team support and no QA/platform team

Responsibilities

• Own the platform end-to-end from API to frontend
• Make the production system robust for clinical use at scale
• Own security and compliance posture (encryption, isolation, audit)
• Decide what to ship and when, with accountability
• Shape how the team works: reviews, testing, and validation
• Collaborate directly with clinicians on product needs
• Help build the engineering team as we grow
