Job summary
Aonic Inc. is seeking a Founding Full-Stack Engineer in San Francisco to own engineering across the business. You will start by building the Aonic Club MVP on Shopify + Recharge, then own the consumer app, agents, data workflows, and privacy/compliance.
This role demands delivering real customer-facing software and setting up scalable systems with AI-driven automation. Ideal candidates ship fast, have TypeScript/React-native experience, and show ownership of complex projects.
Qualifications
- Shipped a consumer product as an engineer.
- Proven full-stack production experience in TypeScript/React, Node or Python.
- Degree from a top-tier university or equivalent shipped work.
- Extremely hungry with strong work ethic and growth mindset.
- Comfortable with long hours Monday-Thursday and Friday schedules.
Responsibilities
- Own engineering at Aonic and build the Club MVP on Shopify + Recharge.
- Lead development of consumer app post-MVP, starting with iOS.
- Build AI agents and internal tools for operations and automation.
- Design scalable architecture, security and privacy considerations.
- Collaborate with the CEO on high-priority projects and strategy.
