Job summary

SearchWorks is hiring a Full Stack Product Engineer to build AI-first products from scratch using Python, React and TypeScript. This founding-engineer role offers ownership across the stack and the chance to shape the product from idea to production.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial full-stack development with Python and React.
• 2+ years of AI/LLM experience or significant AI-enabled app development.
• Startup/scale-up experience and hands-on engineering mindset.
• Ability to own features end-to-end across the stack.
• Strong CS/Engineering/Math/AI/Data Science background; advanced degree preferred.
• InsurTech/FinTech experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build greenfield products from scratch using Python, React and TypeScript.
• Own features end-to-end across the full stack.
• Develop APIs, backend services, data pipelines and integrations.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering to shape the product.
• Solve complex problems in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Hybrid: 2 days per week in the New York City office.
