Alaro is seeking a Founding Full-Stack Engineer to join their team. This is a zero-to-one role where you will work directly with the founders, owning problems end-to-end across APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, background tasks, storage, authentication, and the frontend. You will tackle technically deep problems, from building collaborative rich-text editors for human-AI interaction to designing state-of-the-art extract–transform–embed pipelines and developing real-time streaming services for a multi-agent system.
You will play a crucial role in designing and scaling the technical foundations of the company, translating the vision of AI-assisted law into a polished, reliable product for lawyers and clients. This hands-on, fast-moving, and high-agency role is ideal for someone who thrives in early-stage environments and is eager to shape an entire industry.
Alaro is revolutionizing legal advice by building the world’s first regulated AI-native law firm. Their AI agents edit and generate contracts with true legal reasoning, research law, and collaborate with lawyers and clients to deliver legal advice 10x faster and cheaper. They launched a closed beta with 30 startups, reviewed over 100 contracts, and have 20+ medium-to-large companies lined up for paid pilots for V2. Backed by top AI investors, Alaro has secured $2 million in pre-seed funding and is aggressively investing in world-class engineering talent.
This is a unique opportunity to join at the very beginning, helping to build not just the product, but the entire company from the ground up. As a founding engineer, you will receive competitive compensation and meaningful equity, working alongside ambitious founders to shape the technology, culture, and operations of a business poised to define the future of law.
