Job summary

Atomic is hiring a forward-deployed engineer to build domain-specific AI agents deployed in customer environments. You will own from architecture to production, embedding AI-native capabilities into real workflows and leading the technical engagement with clients.

You will ship quickly, evaluate impact, and decide when to fine-tune, prompt, or route across models. This role requires hands-on coding, customer-facing work, and a strong bias for pragmatic, scalable AI delivery.

Qualifications

• Built and shipped AI tooling in production environments.
• Experience deploying domain-specific agents at customer sites.
• Strong stance on fine-tuning, prompting, RAG, and agent orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Ship a working domain-specific agent into a live customer environment within 30 days.
• Build eval infrastructure to measure replacement of human workflows.
• Fine-tune or route across frontier/open models based on vertical economics.
• Sit with customers to observe workflows and rebuild them as needed.
