Job summary

KP Recruiting Group is seeking a founding Finance Leader to build the finance function from the ground up for a rapidly scaling AI/robotics company in the San Mateo, CA area. You will own capital allocation, board reporting, and fundraising support, partnering with founders to drive strategic financial decisions.

This role requires 10–15+ years in strategic finance, experience with venture-backed startups, and a track record of building and scaling finance organizations from scratch in growth

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, corporate finance, or related field.
• Significant experience in high-growth, venture-backed startups.

Responsibilities

• Build the company's financial operating model from the ground up.
• Develop budgets, cost centers, projections, burn/runway analysis, and long-range forecasts.
