Job summary

Hillel International at Clemson University is seeking the inaugural Executive Director to build a vibrant Jewish life on campus. You will craft the vision, set the strategy, and establish the infrastructure for a self-sustaining nonprofit serving 500+ Jewish students.

You will lead fundraising, secure resources, and mentor student leaders while partnering with campus stakeholders and the international Hillel movement to broaden impact across the university and nearby community.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven fundraising track record and nonprofit leadership experience.
  • Ability to develop strategic plans and engage diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Create a strategic vision in year one and lead the long-term plan for Hillel at Clemson.
  • Establish infrastructure for a self-sustaining nonprofit organization.
  • Lead fundraising efforts and cultivate lay leaders, campus partners, and community stakeholders.
  • Develop financial resources to ensure sustainability and sound financial practices.
  • Identify, secure, and outfit space for Hillel’s needs.
  • Engage students, mentor leaders, and empower programming reflective of student interests.
