Job summary

Northeastern University in New York City invites applications for the Executive Director, Global Business, NYC. This role leads the new bachelor’s degree across two continents, blending business, design, and AI in a portfolio-based approach.

Reporting to the Dean of DMSB and partnering with Northeastern University London, the executive will finalize I3 studio concentrations, build industry partnerships, and ensure AACSB-aligned, competency-based curriculum while steering cross-campus

Qualifications

• Doctorate or terminal degree in business, management, or entrepreneurship.
• Significant academic leadership experience at program director or department chair level.
• Experience launching new academic programs with experiential or competency-based pedagogy.
• Experience with international or multi-campus higher education.
• Familiarity with AACSB accreditation processes and documentation.
• Proven track record building industry partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Serve as founding academic leader of Global Business in NYC and drive program architecture.
• Lead design of AI-native, studio-based curriculum and I3 Lab concentrations.
• Coordinate cross-campus activities with Northeastern University London.
• Build industry partnerships and sponsor studio projects.
• Oversee experiential semesters and co-op pathways.
• Recruit and develop co-teaching faculty and ensure accreditation readiness.
