Evergreen Goodwill Education Center in Seattle is seeking a founding Executive Director to launch the state’s first adult high school under the Goodwill model. The role leads strategy and team-building to establish Excel Center schools across five counties, supported by GEI.

The successful candidate will drive fundraising, board engagement, and external partnerships while ensuring academic quality and financial sustainability for a growing network of schools.

Qualificações

• Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience with strategy, people leadership, operations and finances.
• Experience building, launching, scaling, or transforming educational initiatives or organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Build and lead the Evergreen Goodwill Education Center organization and hire/supervise principals, teachers, and staff.
• Shape the operational and growth strategy for Excel Centers in Washington, translating a national model into high schools for adults 18+.
• Set enrollment, persistence, graduation, and postsecondary success goals using data to drive outcomes.
• Oversee budgeting, staffing, resources, accreditation, charter requirements, and regulatory compliance.
