Job summary

Corgi Insurance Inc. is building its trucking insurance platform from the ground up in an on-site role in Boston or San Francisco.

You will own critical systems end-to-end, from data models and APIs to deployment, tackling real-world data and delivering reliable, scalable software that directly impacts underwriting and policy lifecycle. You’ll work on quoting, binding, and servicing trucking policies, with emphasis on ML-powered underwriting, telematics integration, and data pipelines, while

Qualifications

• 3–5 years building and shipping production software.
• Experience owning systems end-to-end from data models to deployment.
• Comfortable working across the stack and picking the right tool for the problem.
• Experience using modern AI tools in production and understanding their limits.

Responsibilities

• Develop core systems for quoting, binding, issuing, and servicing trucking policies.

We’re well-capitalized to build for the long term and are investing heavily in the technology, talent, and infrastructure needed to redefine insurance.**About the role**We’re building Corgi’s trucking insurance business from scratch, and looking for engineers who want to help redefine how insurance works through technology.You’ll build the core systems behind the business: quote-to-bind, telematics integrations, ML-powered underwriting, 3rd party data pipelines, document processing, and much more. You’ll work with messy real-world data, solve difficult engineering problems, and build systems where reliability and efficiency matter.This is an early engineering team, so you’ll have significant ownership.
