Job summary

raydar is hiring a Founding Engineer in New York City to architect and build the core systems behind an AI-agent platform. You will own critical infrastructure end-to-end, tackle latency in complex payment flows, and help shape technology direction and engineering culture.

You will work closely with the founders on priorities, scale, and partnerships, shipping reliable backend and browser-automation systems in a high-commitment environment with relocation and visa-transfer support available.

Qualifications

• 2 to 6 years of full-stack software-engineering experience.
• Production experience with TypeScript, React, and relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL).
• Experience at a reputable technology company or venture-backed startup.
• A track record of independently building and shipping full-stack projects.
• Strong product judgment, ownership, communication, and comfort with founders.
• Genuine interest in AI, ecommerce, fintech, or agent-driven transactions.
• Willingness to work on-site in New York City five days per week.

Its AI agents use browser automation to execute checkout, support a universal cart, and return order confirmation to the originating app. Founded in 2024, the seed-stage company has raised approximately $3.1 million, has live customers, and is growing from a four-person core team.## The role and why it mattersAs a Founding Engineer, you will architect and build the core systems behind the company's AI-agent platform from end to end.
