Job summary

Noovid is seeking a seasoned Product Designer to lead the design of a two-sided marketplace connecting organizations commissioning videos with creators delivering them. You will own the full experience from research through interaction design, visual polish, and launch measurement.

As the first designer, you will shape a lightweight design practice, build a durable design system, and collaborate with engineers in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience with lead ownership.
• Experience maturing a design practice in a fast-moving environment.
• A portfolio demonstrating judgment, systems thinking, and measurable outcomes.
• Ability to lead without a current design team while staying hands-on with engineers.
• Fluency in English for day-to-day work.

As the first designer, you will own the full experience—from research and problem definition through interaction design, polished interfaces, launch measurement, and the foundations of a future design practice.

Responsibilities

• Shape the end-to-end experience for both sides of the marketplace, from discovery through shipped product.
• Establish a lightweight research process that turns observed user behavior into product direction.
• Translate ambiguous problems into user flows, interactions, visual designs, and post-launch learning.
• Create a durable design system and shared language that improve consistency while preserving character.
• Define practical ways of working for critique, documentation, collaboration, and eventual team growth.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of product design experience, including lead-level ownership of significant work.
• Experience creating or substantially maturing a design practice in an early-stage or fast-moving environment.
• A portfolio demonstrating sound judgment, systems thinking, interaction craft, and measurable outcomes.
• Ability to lead without a current design team while remaining hands‑on and creating clarity for engineers.
• Fluency in English for day‑to‑day work.

Nice to have

• Experience with marketplaces, creator tools, or other products serving multiple user groups.
• Front‑end familiarity, motion‑design skills, or a strong eye for short‑form video.
