Job summary

Meow is seeking a founding designer to own design across our web product, admin tools, and brand. You will collaborate directly with the engineering lead to set the design standard as the team scales.

You should bring 6+ years in product design, a portfolio of complex B2B work, and the ability to design both dense dashboards and high-converting landing pages. This is a solo-designer role with equity and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product design experience in startups or fast-moving teams.
• A portfolio of shipped, complex B2B work showing your thinking, not just final screens.
• Range across product and brand: able to design a dense dashboard and a high-converting landing page.
• Comfortable as the only designer on a small team.

Responsibilities

• Own design for the Meow web app.
• Design our internal admin app for ops and support teams.
• Own the brand, marketing site, social direction, and blog visuals.
• Work on complex financial workflows (payments, approvals, treasury).
• Build and maintain a design system that keeps surfaces consistent.

At Meow, we provide startups with business accounts, corporate cards, and the clean financial reporting they need to operate and raise capital. We combine financial infrastructure with hands-on support so founders can operate efficiently and scale with confidence.

THE ROLE

Our founding designer, owning design across everything Meow puts in front of people. You'll work directly with our engineering lead and set the standard for design at Meow as the team grows.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own design for the Meow web app
• Design our internal admin app so the ops and support teams can work fast
• Own the brand, marketing site, social direction, and blog visuals
• Work on complex financial workflows (payments, approvals, treasury)
• Build and maintain a design system that keeps every surface consistent
• Partner day to day with our engineering team

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 6+ years of product design, including time as a senior or lead designer at a startup or fast-moving team
• A portfolio of shipped, complex B2B work that shows your thinking, not just final screens
• Range across product and brand: you can design a dense dashboard and a landing page that converts
• Comfortable as the only designer

COMPENSATION

$180K to $220K base depending on experience plus equity and benefits.
