Job summary

Meow is seeking its founding designer to own design across the web app, the internal admin tool, and the brand ecosystem. You will work closely with the engineering lead to set the standard for design as the team scales, shaping dashboards, landing pages, and financial workflows.

The role requires a track record of 6+ years in product design, a portfolio of complex B2B work, and the ability to drive design across product and brand while partnering with engineers to deliver high-impact solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product design experience, including senior or lead roles at startups or fast-moving teams.
• A portfolio of shipped, complex B2B work showing thinking beyond final screens.
• Experience designing both dense dashboards and high-converting landing pages.
• Comfortable being the sole designer in a team.

Responsibilities

• Own design for the Meow web app.
• Design the internal admin app for fast ops and support work.
• Own the brand, marketing site, social visuals, and blog visuals.
• Work on complex financial workflows (payments, approvals, treasury).
• Build and maintain a design system for surface consistency.
• Partner daily with engineering to ship features.

THE ROLE

Our founding designer, owning design across everything Meow puts in front of people. You’ll work directly with our engineering lead and set the standard for design at Meow as the team grows.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Own design for the Meow web app

• Design our internal admin app so the ops and support teams can work fast

• Own the brand, marketing site, social direction, and blog visuals

• Work on complex financial workflows (payments, approvals, treasury)

• Build and maintain a design system that keeps every surface consistent

• Partner day to day with our engineering team

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 6+ years of product design, including time as a senior or lead designer at a startup or fast‑moving team

• A portfolio of shipped, complex B2B work that shows your thinking, not just final screens

• Range across product and brand: you can design a dense dashboard and a landing page that converts

COMPENSATION

$180K to $220K base depending on experience plus equity and benefits.
