Specific Labs is hiring its first Strategic Projects Lead to own delivery for frontier-lab projects end-to-end — collaborating with labs, managing contributors, and building delivery operations from the ground up. You will source rare data through creative channels and drive end-to-end project execution.

Based in San Francisco, this role offers significant equity and a clear path to senior leadership if delivery accelerates.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years experience in operations or human data delivery.
• Detail-oriented with ability to build ops from zero.
• Creative sourcing of rare languages and niche audio data.

Responsibilities

• Deliver datasets to frontier AI labs end-to-end (source, qualify, manage contributors, ship).
• Build delivery ops from scratch: processes, contributor management, quality control.
• Get creative on hard sources: rare languages, niche audio data, regulated data.
• Leverage and grow the contributor network and partner products.
• Manage commission economics: 5% margin on each project.
