The Founding Dean will shape vision, programs, faculty, clinical partnerships, and accreditation readiness to build a nationally respected nursing school from inception.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished academic leader with a record in nursing education, scholarship, and clinical practice, capable of strategic leadership

Qualifikationen

• Earned PhD in nursing or closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Academic credentials and scholarly accomplishments appropriate for appointment at the rank of professor.
• Current, unencumbered New York State license as a Registered Professional Nurse, or eligibility to obtain such licensure promptly upon appointment.

• Recruit the founding faculty and establish the School of Nursing.
• Lead the School through NYSED approval and initial CCNE accreditation.
• Establish enduring healthcare partnerships and clinical education programs.
• Develop a state-of-the-art Clinical Simulation and Experiential Learning Center.
• Create innovative academic programs to educate leaders in nursing.
