Job summary

Hyndo, an early-stage startup in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking a Founding CTO & Technical Co-Founder to own the technical vision from MVP through launch and growth.

You will lead architecture, build the core platform with payments, real-time messaging, and ML matching, and guide engineers while aligning with the CEO on product priorities and go-to-market strategy. Equity opportunity and base salary tied to milestones.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering with progression to technical leadership.
• Hands-on experience building/ deploying production-grade web and mobile apps.
• Strong background in backend systems, API design, scalable architecture.
• Experience with prototyping, system design, and bringing products to live production.
• Proficiency in modern full-stack development and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with payments, real-time systems, and machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead all technical strategy, architecture, and implementation decisions.
• Design and build the core platform, including payments, real-time messaging, and ML matching.
• Develop the initial web app and subsequent native iOS/Android apps.
• Establish engineering standards, processes, and technical roadmap.
• Hire, mentor, and lead future engineering team members as the company grows.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO on product priorities and go-to-market strategy.
