Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Head of Technology for Digital Health Services to build an AI-driven pre-operative education platform from the ground up. You will set the architecture, select technology partners, and establish the engineering culture as the first technical hire, with close collaboration to product leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering with senior leadership experience.
• Proven track record shipping from architecture to live, scalable production.
• Hands-on builder mentality with ability to code when needed.
• Deep experience with AI/ML in production and governance.
• Strong command of modern cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience in regulated healthcare environments.
• Excellent communication with non-engineering stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end technical architecture for cloud, AI/ML, data platform, security.
• Lead build-vs-buy-vs-partner evaluations for core technologies.
• Define EHR interoperability and HL7 FHIR considerations from day one.
• Set engineering culture, standards, and hiring for day one.
• Represent technical credibility with clinicians, leadership, and external partners.
