Job summary

Clera, an AI-enabled financial services company, is seeking a founding content producer to build our video production engine from the ground up in San Francisco. You will partner with leadership to tell stories that resonate with founders and business owners, producing content across long-form and short-form channels.

You will script, film, and edit while shaping formats, pacing, thumbnails, and titles to maximize engagement and retention on YouTube and social platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience producing, editing, or directing videos for major creators or established channels with significant viewership.
• Portfolio showing audience engagement across long-form and short-form content.
• Hands-on scripting, shooting, and editing using industry-standard tools.

About the Role

As the founding content producer at an AI-enabled financial services company, you will build its video production engine from the ground up. You will work directly with leadership to tell stories that resonate with founders and business owners, producing content across long-form and short-form channels.

What You'll Do

• Produce long-form and short-form videos for YouTube and social platforms, from ideation through publication.

• Develop video formats, storytelling, pacing, thumbnails, and titles that support engagement and audience retention.

• Script, film, and edit content while establishing a fast, repeatable production workflow.

• Collaborate with leadership on shows, interviews, and series featuring founders and business owners.

• Increase production output while maintaining consistent quality standards.

What We're Looking For

• Experience producing, editing, or directing videos for major creators or established channels with significant viewership.

• A portfolio of video work that demonstrates real audience engagement.

• Hands-on skills in scripting, shooting, and editing, using tools such as Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects.

• A strong understanding of YouTube performance, including hooks, pacing, retention, thumbnails, and titles.

• Ability to work quickly and publish consistently; familiarity with business, startups, or finance is a plus.
