Sam's Club is opening a brand-new club in Tomball, TX, and seeks friendly, dependable founding associates to shape the member experience from day one. You’ll be part of our Tomball team, helping create a culture of excellence and delivering fast, friendly service to members.

As a cafe associate, you’ll prepare food, follow safety standards, and assist members with purchases while working with a supportive team. Competitive pay and benefits are offered as part of a strong training program.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Food Safety Certification (preferred)
• Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to item specifications, planning for daily production, mass production, and seasonality
• Follow food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, Cold Chain compliance, and inventory management practices
• Stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste
• Use hand-held technology to make in-the-moment decisions about production, ordering, and product quality
• Assist members with purchasing decisions, payment types, locating merchandise, and resolving issues
• Support receiving club pick-up orders and stock displays with proper containers and packaging
• Keep the cafe area clean, sanitized, and member-ready
• Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment safely and effectively
