Job summary

ALL KNOWN SERVICES is seeking a founding backend engineer (0–7 years) to own projects end-to-end in a fast-moving early-stage environment. You'll design APIs, build backend infrastructure, and help shape the core systems that power AI agents in the real world.

The role is on-site in San Francisco with potential visa-friendly setup. Expect heavy emphasis on REST APIs, system design, scalable server-side architecture, and shipping features from 0→1 while collaborating across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript or modern frameworks.
• Experience at a FAANG or well-known VC-backed startup (Series A+).
• Deep back end fundamentals: REST API design, system design, server-side architecture.

Responsibilities

• Build and design APIs and backend infrastructure used by AI agents.
• Own 0→1 projects from scoping to production rollout.
• Work across the full stack (~80% backend, ~20% frontend).
• Proactively pitch ideas and contribute to product and growth thinking.
• Be a front line contact for customer feedback and enterprise deployments.
• Write clear, maintainable code and documentation while handling high email throughput.
