Job summary

Weller Precision Industries LLC seeks a lead software engineer to own the AI tutor system from architecture to production. You will work with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and PostgreSQL to build and scale AI-driven learning experiences, orchestrating LLMs and integrating AI workflows across frontend and backend.

Ideal candidates have strong engineering judgment, can navigate an evolving early-stage codebase, and contribute to CI/CD, cloud deployment, and automated testing for reliable delivery.

Qualifications

Candidates should have strong engineering judgment and experience with TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, and LLM application development.
Ability to own large portions of a product and work in an evolving, early-stage codebase is essential.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end architecture and production rollout of AI tutor system.
Collaborate across frontend, backend, and ML teams to ship features and improvements.
Design scalable, robust AI-driven learning workflows and monitoring.
