As Founding Product Engineer, you will own core problems from inception to deployment, shaping the engineering culture and early product strategy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of production deployments.
• Experience across frontend and backend; familiarity with React, TypeScript, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL.
• Strong product sense; able to navigate between strategy and execution.
• Curiosity about financial systems, accounting, and fintech domains.

Responsibilities

• Talk with founders, operators, and finance teams to define product solutions.
• Design and build full-stack solutions across frontend, backend, AI, data, and integrations.
• Develop AI finance agents for automating invoicing, payroll, reporting, and month-end close.
• Architect infrastructure with permissions, audits, observability, and data reconciliation.
• Integrate with banking, accounting, payroll, payment, and communication platforms like QuickBooks, Plaid, Stripe.
• Create intuitive UI translating financial data into actionable insights.
