Job summary

Unknown is building AI agents for complex supply chain operations from a small, technically focused team. The role blends customer-facing work with hands-on software development to turn operational challenges into production features.

You will work directly with customers to uncover challenges, translate insights into product improvements, and own engineering streams from scoping to deployment, while shaping the technical direction with leadership.

Qualifications

2+ years as a full-stack or backend engineer.
Production Python experience; TypeScript and React familiarity.
Track record shipping software with stakeholder impact.
Experience at startups or established org with demonstrated impact.
Regular use of AI coding assistants (Copilot or Cursor).
U.S. undergraduate degree in computer science or equivalent.
Willingness to travel every 1–2 months, including internationally.
Experience with LLMs/AI models or supply chain domain is a plus.

Responsibilities

Work directly with customers, including procurement and supply chain teams, to understand operational challenges firsthand.
Translate customer insights into product and infrastructure improvements.
Own engineering workstreams from scoping through deployment.
Collaborate with company leadership on technical and strategic direction.
Help shape effective agentic software for supply chain use cases.
