Rise Technical Recruitment Limited in New York City is seeking a Founding Engineer to own major product areas end-to-end, from design to operation, in a YC-backed AI startup. You will work directly with founders to shape architecture and deliver high-impact features for customers daily.

The role requires hands-on Next.js and FastAPI experience, strong communication with customers, and a willingness to thrive in an fast-paced onsite startup environment.

Qualifications

• Software engineer comfortable owning features end-to-end (Open to new grads).
• Hands-on experience with Next.js and FastAPI.
• Good Communication: confident working directly with customers.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, in-person startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end feature delivery (design > build > ship > operate) across core product surfaces.
• Work directly with customers/users to understand pain points and rapidly deliver improvements.
• Shape engineering standards, architecture, and engineering culture alongside the CTO/founders.
• Support production systems and iterate quickly based on real usage and feedback loops.
