Job description

We're hiring AI engineers to build the systems that make Create intelligent. Often that involves tackling ambiguous research problems and shipping innovative solutions.

Sample projects include:

1. Prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and training models for code generation to better match user intent
2. Creating retrieval models to enhance code understanding or design quality
3. Inventing techniques for Create's AI agent to autonomously resolve compile or runtime errors
4. Designing new agent workflows to significantly improve reliability

Your background looks something like:

1. 4+ years of production experience with Typescript as a full-stack engineer or applied researcher
2. If you've personally built something used by others, years of experience are less important
3. Experience building products that people love, independently or as part of a team
4. Deep curiosity about the latest AI research and applications, with a knack for turning ideas into reality
5. Strong prompt intuition and ability to debug AI behavior systematically
6. Ability to balance deep expertise with fast shipping
7. Willingness to work in person with the team 5 days a week in San Francisco
8. Experience with Create and strong opinions on future developments

We pay extra attention if you have:

1. Prior experience as a founder or founding engineer
2. Strong product, design, or AI sensibility
3. Extensive production experience with LLMs
4. Familiarity with AI development tools

Compensation Range: $125K - $200K
