Stable10 in Boston is seeking a Founding Product Engineer to shape the product and engineering culture from day one. You will work directly with founders to build customer-facing features end-to-end and influence the strategic direction of the product.

You will own projects from concept through production, building scalable systems across frontend and backend while defining engineering practices and contributing to hiring. A startup mindset and ability to thrive with ambiguity are essential.

We're partnering with an ambitious Boston-based startup looking for a Founding Product Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping both the product and engineering culture from day one.

This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in early-stage environments, enjoys operating across the full stack, and wants direct impact on company direction, product strategy, and technical decisions. You'll work closely with the founders, build customer-facing features from scratch, and help scale a product that's solving real-world problems in a rapidly growing market.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, building, and shipping product features end-to-end
• Working directly with founders, customers, and stakeholders to influence the product roadmap
• Owning projects from concept through production
• Building scalable and maintainable systems across the frontend and backend
• Helping establish engineering best practices, tooling, and processes
• Contributing to hiring and shaping the future engineering team

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience building and shipping products in startup environments
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js, and cloud infrastructure
• Product-minded approach with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences
• Ability to operate independently and thrive amid ambiguity
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment
• Previous startup experience, ideally Seed through Series B stage

Nice to Have

• Experience building AI-powered products or integrating LLMs
• Exposure to data-intensive applications and scalable architectures
• Prior Founding Engineer or early-stage startup experience
