Job summary

A seed-stage AI company in New York is hiring 3 founding engineers to build the backend and data infrastructure that powers decision-making for brands on shelves. You will own core infrastructure for single-tenant and multi-tenant deployments and help pull structured data from messy sources at terabyte scale.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years as a backend or full-stack engineer, ideally on data pipelines or extraction systems.
• Proficiency in TypeScript in production plus a backend language (Python, Go, Java or Rust).
• Ownership mindset: able to ship end-to-end solutions at an early-stage startup.
• Experience with AI-first workflows and production-ready agent systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build core infrastructure from the ground up for single-tenant and multi-tenant deployments.
• Pull structured data from messy sources at terabyte scale.
• Develop building blocks for multi-step agents with long memory and data access rules.
• Put production agents live at large enterprise customers.
• Collaborate with the founding team from day one.
