Job summary

Proximity Team, Inc. in San Francisco is hiring a flexible, non-traditional solutions engineer who can own deployments from pilot to rollout. You’ll meet customers, define workflows worth solving, configure their agent, test with their team, and get it live.

You’ll onboard sales teams, dealers, engineers, and executives, using Claude Code, Codex, the Prox CLI, and internal tools to speed proposals and deployments while driving customer adoption and account expansion.

Job description

• own manufacturer accounts from the first demo through rollout and expansion.
• work across technical sales, deployment, product, and founder-led GTM.
• use coding agents, the Prox CLI, and deployment tools every day. You do not need to be a traditional software engineer.
• $130k–$160k + 0.3%–0.7% equity.
• in person in San Francisco. You'll work directly with Greg and Dima.

the role

You'll meet customers, find the workflow worth solving, configure their agent, test it with their team, and get it live. You'll onboard sales teams, dealers, engineers, and executives.

You'll use Claude Code, Codex, the Prox CLI, and our internal tools to build proposals, automate account work, and make each deployment faster than the last.

You'll own paid deployments, launch speed, customer adoption, and account expansion. When the platform gets in your way, you'll work with engineering to fix the underlying problem.

Your current title might be solutions engineer, AE, GTM engineer, deployment strategist, product, DevRel, or something we have never heard of.
