Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
advisor.TV seeks a hands-on, in-person community-builder in Ponte Vedra Beach to book guests, manage pilots, and grow relationships that convert shows into paying seasons. You will handle research, prep notes, and produce clips in collaboration with the studio team, all while using AI to speed up planning and outreach.
The role is based in our Nocatee Town Center studio, five days a week, with a $3,000 monthly retainer plus 10% of every paid show you support.
You're the person people call when something has to actually get done. Your current job doesn't know that yet. I do, and I'm looking for you.
Read this before you apply. Most people shouldn't.
I'm Adam Fridman. I founded Mabbly in 2013, made the Inc 5000 twice, and wrote The Science of Story. Starting in 2014, we recorded more than 1,000 episodes in Chicago with the people building that city. Then I went quiet for five years.
Now I'm restarting here in Ponte Vedra, as city two. advisor.TV produces shows for the people building Northeast Florida: founders, owners and the leaders behind the biggest moves in this city. Our mission is three words: nobody builds alone.
Every host I work with gets two things: a voice their market listens to, and relationships that turn into customers. The plan is 20 paid shows by March 1, 2027. Then Orlando. Then other cities.
Mabbly, my agency, is our founding sponsor. It funds the studio and every pilot. idea2result is our video production team and also a sponsor. They shoot, edit and deliver every show. Neither is a customer. Both are believers.
Each of these is a test. If you read one and thought "good," keep going.
We have zero paying customers. The Chicago archive proves we can make the shows. It doesn't pay a single bill here. Getting the first customers is the job.
The plan changes weekly, sometimes daily. If you need a stable plan, this will feel like chaos, because it is.
The hours are what the work needs. Some weeks are calm. Most aren't.
There's nobody between you and me. No layers, no cover, nowhere to hide. That goes for me too.
My hosts are business leaders, not media people. The biggest shows in the world run on a whole team: a producer, a booker, a researcher, a social editor, and someone who remembers every name. I promised my hosts that team at a fraction of the price. You're how I keep that promise.
To every host reading this: this is the person I'm hiring for you.
My marketing lead runs cold outreach and works remotely. You're his hands in Jacksonville: the photos, the videos, the rooms, the people. Everything that needs someone actually here.
Learn one, own it, pick up the next. That's the whole deal.
This isn't "familiar with ChatGPT." Every day you'll use AI to research guests and draft sharp questions, write show descriptions and prep notes, build landing pages with tools like Lovable, and make posters, graphics and clips.
If you've never built something with AI, this isn't the job yet. If you have, show me.
you want a defined role, a predictable week, or someone else to set your priorities.
I move fast, decide fast, and change my mind when the data changes. My feedback is direct and immediate, and it isn't personal. Everything I run is built on systems and AI. I expect things finished before I ask, and I expect you to tell me when I'm wrong.
There's no onboarding. Day one you're in the studio with me. By the end of week one you've followed up with every host and guest in the CRM, posted your first clips, and sat in your first recording. By the end of month one you're running a host's pilot end to end and booking my sponsor meetings.
At 90 days the question is simple: are pilots turning into paid seasons, and do I have my hours back? If yes, you stay.
Our studio is in Nocatee Town Center. This is an in person role, five days a week. People walk through our door, and you're the first person they meet. Expect some evenings for Friday at Four and events. You'll hear things before the city does. Keep them.
$3,000 monthly retainer, plus 10 percent of every paid show you support. At 20 shows, that's another $5,000 a month. Your upside grows exactly as fast as we do.
This is a 90 day contract. If it works, it becomes permanent.
When Orlando opens, someone has to run it. I'd rather it be someone who built Jacksonville with me than a stranger. That could mean running the host experience here, becoming an Executive Producer with 20 points on every show you originate, or General Manager of the next studio.
None of this is promised. All of it is possible.
I watch every video. You'll hear back from me within 24 hours, either way.
If you got this far and you're already thinking about what to say, you know what to do.
