THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly motivated, organized, and creative Founder Manager to join our growing team. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day communications and needs by liaising between internal teams and Bella Hadid (Brand Founder). This role will film and edit video and static content of Bella (mainly for social media), ensuring every piece of content aligns with the Founder’s vision and standards, plus the Brand’s marketing objectives and business needs. This is a role that combines both creative and operational aspects, requiring discretion, emotional intelligence, flexibility, and excellence under pressure. The ideal candidate excels in a start-up work environment, possesses an extensive background in Talent Management and content creation, and is well-versed in relevant content trends happening in the beauty space and broader culture. This role will report to the Global Head of Marketing & Sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Founder Management:
- Act as primary liaison for the Founder in all 'Ôrəbella activities, ensuring they’re prepped, protected, and positioned for success.
- Oversee the Founder’s global schedule in coordination with her agency team, with a focus on all brand-related activities—including photo shoots, content creation, press engagements, product launches, events and travel—proactively anticipating needs and planning opportunities for content.
- Coordinate, book, and budget manage talent needs (glam, styling, travel, security, etc).
- Manage all communications and coordination with Bella & her team, plus the 'Ôrəbella team and corporate management. Includes detail-oriented weekly agenda files and record-keeping.
- Serve as the key bridge between the Founder and their team, and the marketing and executive teams, to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Travel as needed to accompany the Founder for shoots, appearances, and events, providing real-time support, guidance, and content creation.
- Champion 'Ôrəbella’s brand ethos and objectives while protecting the Founder’s integrity, image, and well-being.
Content Creation & Approvals:
- Lead on the ideation and execution of Founder content:
- Create and gain buy-in on mood boards/creative concepts, glam/styling briefs, locations/props, shot lists (in conjunction with/ team)
- Produce lo-fi shoots with the Founder based on her travel schedule/locations and creative preferences
- Shoot Founder, both stills and video, for use on both Founder and Brand channels, in alignment with Founder aesthetic and Brand needs
- Understand the brand and the founder’s taste, tone of voice, interests, values, and approach to best support and create authentic content.
- Review campaigns and content to ensure tone and presentation align with the Founder’s voice and brand image.
- Handle all Bella x 'Ôrəbella content, including curating, sharing, gaining approvals, content cataloging, and tracking to ensure all teams are only using approved final content omnichannel.
- Ensure that the Founder has everything she needs anytime there is a Brand activity (ie, product, filming/lighting equipment, ad hoc styling kit, rider fulfilled, etc).
- Stay on top of trends, especially for TikTok, to ensure Founder content is authentic, relevant, and engaging.
- Build and manage desired Founder's Ôrəbella social content calendars that are synergistically aligned with Brand objectives and owned calendars across product launches, campaigns, seasonal moments, cultural events, retailer needs, and evergreen support.
- Collaborate with the Founder’s social liaison to ensure all Founder 'Ôrəbella posts are optimized and align with Brand needs.
- Share community content back to Founder’s social liaison to ensure Founder is engaging with the appropriate social content further to fuel brand loyalty and love across the social ecosystem.
- Work closely with the Marketing Team to support on building out monthly owned social calendars that include the Founder and hit on brand objectives with compelling Founder content, seamlessly integrated in the most engaging manner.
- Oversee monthly Founder social reporting with Founder’s social liaison.
- Stay up to date with competitor marketing channels and social platforms, with a keen eye on how other Founder-led brands are finding success.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 5+ years of experience, with experience in both talent management, brand representation, or celebrity PR and content creation across all social media platforms
- Prior experience managing or working closely with high-profile talent
- Proven ability to handle sensitive, fast-paced environments with discretion and calm
- Exceptional communication, organization, and people skills
- Deep understanding of beauty/fashion/culture industries
- Creative with a strong interest in beauty trends and social media
- Can shoot and edit in low-fi content, both stills and videos
- Have adept understanding of media management including file types and software formats
- Proficient in Google Suite
- Self-starter with the ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with little oversight
- Action-oriented, comfortable “rolling up sleeves”, no task is too small or large mentality
- Able to travel frequently as needed and be available across time zones if necessary
