Job summary
YPlasma is seeking a COO to industrialize our solid-state plasma cooling platform for edge devices, overseeing production-scale operations from pilots to volume shipments. You will align power-electronics, supply chain, and OEM partnerships while driving cross-geo operations and governance.
You will lead manufacturing transfers, qualify partners, and ensure quality and reliability across Madrid HQ and Newark NJ labs, traveling as needed in a founder-level leadership role.
Qualifications
- 10 years of operating experience in electronics or hardware with senior leadership scope.
- Personally industrialized at least one electronic product from prototype to volume production.
- Familiar with contract manufacturing, NPI, supply chain, quality and reliability.
- Knowledge of power electronics and high-voltage systems to guide tradeoffs.
- Experience selling into Tier-1 OEMs or silicon vendors with long design-in cycles.
- Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.
- Willing to be based in Madrid or Newark NJ and travel for labs, partners, and customers.
Responsibilities
- Industrialization and manufacturing leadership from pilot to production-grade products.
- Transfer to manufacturing partners, set up NPI, DFM, and quality systems.
- Provide credible technical input on power electronics and high-voltage drive circuits.
- Build a scalable supply chain, cost structure, and operating cadence.
- Partner with CEO and customers on joint development and design-in cycles.
- Lead cross-geography operations with processes, hiring, and reporting for scale.
