Job summary

Deep Science Ventures (DSV) is seeking a Founder-in-Residence to co-found a new company focused on fragmentation and modularization of high‑voltage transmission towers and foundations. You will work with DSV and a major transatlantic utility partner to refine the technical thesis, address commercial strategy, IP, and fundraising, and guide rapid path to Series A.

Qualifications

• Civil, mechanical or structural engineering depth with hands-on experience in modular construction or related fields.
• Experience with modular structural systems and off-site manufacturing is preferred.
• Familiarity with advanced connection technologies and lightweight materials is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Join the Venture Creation Programme as a Founder-in-Residence with the Partner team.
• Refine technical thesis for fragmentation/modularisation of towers and foundations.
• Develop market strategy, IP approach, regulatory positioning, and fundraising plans.
• Support preparation for Investment Committee and eventual spin-out planning.
