Job summary

Pear VC is seeking an Investor to identify and engage the next generation of founders. You will map founder ecosystems, build authentic relationships, and connect extraordinary builders to Pear for potential investment.

You’ll work closely with Investment Partners, participate in weekly deal-flow discussions, and gain exposure to leading early-stage investors worldwide. The role emphasizes sourcing and community-building, with mentorship and the chance to influence the earliest stages of startup

Qualifications

• Deep passion for sourcing and talent hunting.
• Credible network within founder and student ecosystems.
• Ability to work autonomously with strong judgment.
• Prior founder experience or organizing groups is a plus.
• Proven relationship builder with founders and researchers.

Responsibilities

• Build authentic relationships with current founders, engineers, researchers, professors, and graduates to identify future founders.
• Attend, host, and organize events to steer builders toward PearX and seed dealflow.
• Serve as connective tissue between builders and Pear, ensuring Pear is the first call for founders.
• Lead a group of Fellows to extend reach on campus and run programs to attract top builders.
• Find creative ways to connect with and access early-stage talent.
