Job summary

Changemaker Education seeks a Microschool Founder & Director to launch and oversee new microschools in the US West, starting in January 2027, Fall 2027, or Fall 2028. This founder role centers on transforming education with autonomy for school leaders and a focus on self-directed, experiential learning.

Qualifications

• Background in working with children in any field.
• Availability for a minimum of 10-15 hours per week to set up the microschool.
• Commitment to full-time operation starting January 2027, Fall 2027, or Fall 2028.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to lead a new learning community.
• Strong community connections and willingness to collaborate with mentors.

Responsibilities

• Launch and operate a microschool starting January 2027, Fall 2027, or Fall 2028.
• Lead the implementation of Mind, Body, Soul (MBS) curriculum integration and community-based learning.
• Recruit and enroll families for the microschool cohort and build partnerships.
• Oversee daily operations and collaborate with Changemaker team and mentors.
