Job summary

Kiewit Foundations District is seeking a Project Engineer to support foundation construction projects across the Gulf Coast region. You will coordinate field and cost engineers, acting as the main conduit between construction management and the team for cost, revenue, and cash flow information.

Ideal candidates have strong interpersonal and information management skills, 5+ years in construction or engineering, and the ability to mentor others.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to read, analyze, and identify discrepancies in engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of foundation construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and team members to ensure project success.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Perform scheduling of the project.
• Manage revenue, cost, and cash flow.
• Oversee engineering design management.
• Ensure quality control.
• Handle project closeout and client relations.
• Assist in operations planning.
• Administer contracts and subcontracts.
