The Doorway of Greater Nashua is one of nine Doorway locations in New Hampshire that provides single points of entry for people seeking help for substance use. Staff at the Doorway provide a complete assessment, coordinated referral to treatment, and supportive services for anyone living with a substance use disorder. Our goal is to ensure that help is available to any individual who needs it when they need it.

About the Job:

The Certified Recovery Support Worker will provide support to opioiduse disorder/substance use disorder patients which will include assessment and resources to assist in their recovery management.

What You’ll Do:

  • Intake screening of referred and/or walk-in patients to determine if further assessment is needed.

  • Collaborating with providers and staff to make timely referrals, which includes follow-up.

  • Completing continuous recovery monitoring interviews to track each patient’s progress.

  • Performing outreach by attending community meetings, and developing relationships with community members.

Who You Are:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.

  • Certified Recovery Support Worker certification from the State of New Hampshire required.

  • 1 years of experience in healthcare setting and/or experience in a mental healthcare setting preferred.
