Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Foundation Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate bulldozers, backhoes, forklifts, dump trucks, and cranes on foundation projects. You will load and unload equipment, perform pre-operational checks, and ensure proper maintenance.

The role requires basic English communication, 3–5 years in road construction or heavy equipment, and may require CDL per DOT guidelines. OT and weekend work could be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in road construction or heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to understand and communicate in basic English.
• CDL may be required per DOT guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to assist in constructing foundations and basements.
• Load and unload equipment from trailers and vehicles.
• Follow safety policies and procedures while operating equipment.
• Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation.
• Work overtime, late nights, and occasional weekends when needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform pre-operational checks.
