Organization Overview:

The Florida Panthers enter their 33rd season in 2026-27 as one of the National Hockey League’s premier franchises. As back‑to‑back Stanley Cup champions in 2024 and 2025, the Panthers have emerged victorious in 11 of their past 12 postseason series and have captured four Eastern Conference championships. The organization is led by President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Bill Zito and President of Business Operations Michael White.

The Panthers operate four facilities in Broward County, Florida: Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise; the Panthers IceDen in Coral Springs; Baptist Health IcePlex in Fort Lauderdale; and War Memorial Auditorium.

The Florida Panthers Foundation focuses on veterans, children’s health, the endangered Florida panther, and youth hockey.

Job Summary

The Foundation seeks part‑time staff for the 2026-27 season to serve as the primary seller for the 50/50 Raffle program and support Foundation events throughout the season.

The 50/50 Raffle is conducted at each home game, with half the jackpot going to a winner and the other half supporting the Foundation.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate raffle ticket transactions via electronic handheld device to fans pre‑game and through the end of the second intermission.
• Educate fans and answer questions about the Foundation and the 50/50 Raffle program.
• Accurately handle the sale and distribution of tickets, following all program requirements.
• Process credit‑only sales and troubleshoot technology issues with 50/50 devices as needed.
• Assist with the execution of Foundation events and initiatives throughout the season, including event setup, guest services, and general operational support.
• Assist with and promote other fundraising initiatives including auctions, merchandise sales, and Foundation events.
• Walk long distances, climb arena stairs, and stand for extended periods while selling raffle tickets and assisting with events.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to provide own means of transportation.
• Prior experience handling credit card transaction devices preferred.
• Strong sales and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact positively with a large fan base; comfortable approaching people and requesting donations in front of crowds.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work 70% of home games, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing personality with a passion for raising money for the Foundation.
• Sales experience is a bonus but not required.

Physical Demands

• Prolonged standing and walking, including long distances and climbing stairs.
• Balancing on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces.
• Kneeling, crouching, and bending as needed.
• Communicate clearly through talking and hearing at normal speaking levels.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

Part‑time, event‑based. Hours are based on the event schedule and are primarily evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.

Foundation Game Day Fundraising Representatives work approximately 4 hours per home game.
