Job summary

Camelot Community Care is seeking a recruiter for foster homes in Florida to support licensing, training, and ongoing foster family development. You will recruit, license, and provide ongoing support to foster homes to meet contractual and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include conducting home studies, maintaining licensing files, coordinating orientations and training, and assisting with placements of foster children while keeping accurate records in our databases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a human service field with at least 2 years of relevant foster care experience.
  • Experience with licensing, home studies, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

  • Recruits foster homes on an on-going basis to meet programmatic and contractual requirements.
  • Maintains accurate foster parent licensing files, monthly activities/status reports and records.
  • Conducts home visits, prepares home studies, and ensures licensing standards are met.
  • Coordinates orientation sessions, pre-service and ongoing training for foster parents.

Other duties may be assigned.Recruits foster homes on an on-going basis according to programmatic and contractual requirements resulting in licensed homes to adequately meet the placement needs of the program.Successfully retains licensed foster homes through providing on-going support to foster parents.Conducts foster home visits as required by contract or as assigned by the program supervisor and evaluates the home and family for continued compliance with licensing standards as well as assessing whether appropriate care is being provided in the home.Completes the home study and other assessment documents thoroughly to include an in-depth review of the potential familys appropriateness to be a foster parent.Completes initial licensing packets according to contractual, programmatic and regulatory requirements.Completes all re-licensing packets according to contractual, programmatic and regulatory requirements.Responds to all foster parent inquiries on a timely basis.Conducts or participates in regularly scheduled new foster parent orientation sessions.Conducts or participates in all required pre-service and on-going training of foster parents according to contractual, programmatic and regulatory requirements.Maintains accurate foster parent licensing files, monthly activities/status reports and records regarding licensing status of each foster home.Attends all required meetings held by the program, funders and contractors.Assists with the placement of foster children.
