Job summary

Cornerstones of Care is seeking a full-time driver/transport aide in Kansas City, KS to support foster care youth by transporting them to placements and court dates. This role requires a clean driving record, a valid Kansas license, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

The position offers hourly compensation in the mid-teens to low twenties, with comprehensive benefits for eligible employees and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of work experience working with youth is preferred.
• Must be 21+ and pass background check, physical exam, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate compassion for and commit to working with children and adolescents in foster care.
• Coordinate and ensure safe transportation of youth to placements and designated locations.
• Safely transport youth, belongings, medications, and required documentation to visits, appointments, court, and activities.
• Monitor and document client behavior during transport and report concerns.
