Job summary

Texas Family Initiative in Brownwood, TX is seeking a Foster Care Support Specialist to provide aftercare case management for children and families after discharge.

This community-based role develops aftercare plans, supports kinship caregivers, coordinates resources, and ensures service continuity for at least six months post-discharge, with a hybrid schedule. Travel may be required as part of field work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree or two years of child and family services experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities
