Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field as required.
• One-year experience working with families is preferred.
• Knowledge of strength-based family work, wrap-around processes, and child welfare laws.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Michigan licensing requirements and background checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide social work services to families for reunification or permanent placement and related referrals.
• Be available 24/7 for crisis support and family assistance.
• Advocate by coordinating meetings with court, school, hospital and other service providers.
• Work with staff to develop treatment and safety plans for families and children.
• Educate and model parenting, childcare, and household management skills.
