Austin Pets Alive! in Kyle, TX is seeking a Foster & Placement Coordinator to lead foster recruitment, retention, and placement pathways at PAWS Kyle.

This role recruits, matches, and supports foster families to expand shelter capacity, improve animal outcomes, and help more pets move from the shelter to loving homes. You will stay organized, use data to inform decisions, and collaborate with volunteers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for foster families throughout their foster experience.
• Develop and implement strategies to recruit new foster families.
• Coordinate foster placements, transfers, extensions, and returns.
• Maintain active pipeline of prospective foster families.
• Conduct foster orientations, trainings, and informational sessions.
• Monitor foster program data including recruitment, retention, placement, returns, and outcomes.
