• Bachelor's degree in Social Services or Behavioral Science or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Experience in public contact work, information gathering, analysis, documentation, and collaboration.
• Competencies include motivational interviewing, information gathering, recruitment and training workshops, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct home studies and kinship assessments to determine suitability of resource families.
• Assist in securing placements for youth through available resources and best practices.
• Explain the resource approval process to placement families and support through steps to approval.
• Provide ongoing support to resource families and applicants; recruit and train resource families.
