The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) in Maine is hiring for a Professional & Technical position in Augusta. You will conduct home studies, foster home investigations, and kinship assessments to determine suitable placements for youths entering care.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services or Behavioral Science (or equivalent experience), strong information gathering and communication skills, and you will travel within the District Office area with overtime as

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services or Behavioral Science (or equivalent education/experience).
• Experience in public contact work, information gathering, analysis, documentation, and collaboration.
• Knowledge of motivational interviewing and information gathering methods.
• Ability to develop and conduct recruitment and training workshops and meetings.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
